Tony Cutrone is a multi-instrumentalist and educator. He teaches piano, organ, guitar, and bass guitar.
Piano, Organ and Keyboard (synthesizer): Having studied organ at the Ontario Conservatory of Music and piano at the Royal Conservatory of Music, Tony Cutrone is an accomplished keyboard player. He currently performs on lead synth and bass synth with his own band, RadioPlay Band. Also, he currently performs with Jukebox Heroes: the Ultimate Tribute to the Music of Foreigner and Lou Gramm.
Guitar: Tony Cutrone used his Royal Conservatory knowledge of Organ and Piano to teach himself Electric and Acoustic Guitar. As a result, he acquired great proficiency on the instrument such that he was the guitarist and main songwriter for internationally known pop group, Sonic, who had a hit in 2003 with “Grounded”. Currently, he is guitarist for Thriller Canada: Tribute to Michael Jackson and the Jackson 5 as well as guitarist for Stevie! Tribute to Stevie Wonder.
Bass Guitar: As a student in the Fine Arts Music Program at York University, Tony Cutrone’s main instrument throughout his education at York was the Bass Guitar. As a result, his knowledge and proficiency on the bass guitar is vast. He was Bassist and main songwriter for Canadian alternative hard rock group, Loudshine.
His most current position as Bass Guitarist was with Absolute Journey (Tribute to the music of Journey and Steve Perry) and Afterglow (Top 40 band).
